MUSIC COMPOSITION
In ninth grade, my band teacher taught a one-week unit on music composition. It clicked immediately for me. Since then I discovered MuseScore as a tool to compose and write instrumentation. I've continued to learn and experiment on my own for hours every day. It's an obsession that never grows old. I love pushing myself to try new things, and to play with different time signatures, instruments, leitmotifs, and moods. Lately I've been studying adaptive music, and how to program it to react to game play in real time. I love all facets of game design, but music and soundtrack composition is one of my favorites.
Click below for samples of music I composed for my video game, tracks I created for a responsive English project about Frankenstein, songs from a school film project, and some recent adaptive music I wrote for a fighting game I'm currently developing with some friends.
